Doug has partnered with organizations ranging from early-stage startups to global brands, including Wells Fargo, Cisco, Hyatt, Cartoon Network, Bacardi, Atlantic Records, Rolex, Mercedes, and Target.
Across industries and scales, the focus remains the same: build brands that are easier to understand, harder to ignore, and built to grow.
His work has been recognized by organizations including the ADDY Awards, Telly Awards, Summit Awards, Communicator Awards, and the Midas Awards, and featured in publications such as Communication Arts, Print, GD USA, and LogoLounge.
Recognition follows the work, but the focus has always been on building brands that perform, not just brands that win awards.
Doug has lectured at institutions including Columbia University, the University of Central Florida, and Full Sail University, and has spoken for organizations such as AIGA and the Graphic Artists Guild. He also mentors emerging designers through AIGA, as well as serves on the Advisory Board for The Los Angeles Film School. In addition, he hosts a podcast, Brand of Brothers, focused on branding, design, and the evolving role of creative professionals.
Doug earned a BFA in Graphic Design and Illustration, along with a degree in Art History, summa cum laude, from the University of Miami. He also studied at the School of Visual Arts under Milton Glaser.
